What Sets Us Apart
In 2024 Daniel and Veronica partnered together, having met while working collaboratively at a ballroom studio. What began as a professional mentorship evolved into a shared vision, further expanding their work in performance, instruction, and community-building. They discovered a mutual passion not only for dance, but for helping students grow personally and artistically. Opening their own space felt like a natural next step. Together, they founded The Rhythm Room — a community-centered studio aimed to bring high-quality dance instruction and positive energy to a developing area. Their shared ambition is to establish a space where people of all ages, backgrounds, and experience feel safe stepping out of their comfort zones on the dance floor.
As the studio grows, they aspire for The Rhythm Room to become more than just a dance studio — but a home. The Rhythm Room strives to be a trusted space where people come to challenge themselves, meet new friends, and discover a part of themselves that was yet to be freed.
Meet Daniel Medina
Co-Owner, Instructor
Daniel’s journey into dance didn’t begin in childhood classes or competitive studios - he didn’t begin dancing until adulthood. With a background in psychology and no formal dance training, Daniel first encountered ballroom dance while exploring career opportunities. Through perserverence, mentorship, and an unwavering determination, dance transformed from a job opportunity into a calling — not just as a performer, but as a guide for others navigating their own growth. Over the years, Daniel has trained in and taught a wide range of styles including Salsa, Bachata, Merengue, Foxtrot, Waltz, Tango, Cha-Cha, Rumba, and Swing.
To Daniel, dance isn’t about perfection, it’s about transformation. His philosophy is simple - movement should bring joy, release, confidence, and connection. Dance is for everyone — even those who believe it isn’t.
